SAS Programme of Meetings and Workshops 2025

Painting Days and Workshops are held in Cornerstone Church Hall, New Street, 10am - 3pm
Painting Days cost £5 to cover the hire of the hall.
Workshop days with an expert tutor cost £20 and MUST be booked in advance.

May 10th - Workshop: Ruth Clayton: Water in the Landscape

May 31st - Painting Day

June 21st - Themed painting Day: The essense of Sedbergh and the surrounding area

Jume 28th - Plein air painting at Sprint Mill, Burneside and aslo interior scenes at the mill.

July 12th - Painting Day

August 2nd - Workshop: Steve Pardue: Nature Journalling.

August 16th - Painting Day

The Annual Exhibition of members' work will be held over the August Bank Holiday - 21st to the 25th

September 6 - Workshop : Jess Levine Gelli Plate Printing

September 20th - Painting Day

October 4th - Themed painting Day: Autumn scenes or floral and leaf compositions.

October 18th - Painting Day

November 1st - Painting Day

November 15th - Workshop: Karen Lester Creating vibrant greys and neutrals for painting a November landscape - watercolour

December 13th Themed Paitning Day: Card ideas for Christmas

2026

January 3rd - Themed Painting Day - Painting and interior : the effect of light.

January 17th - Painting Day
